Apostle Dr. Edith Moore is the daughter of Mr. Houston and Mrs. Carrie Kees. She is the wife of Elder Tyrone Moore and the mother of Christopher, Valerie, and Alexia Moore. She is also the proud grandmother of Tobias Lawrence and the late Elijah Moore. While under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Showell, in Baltimore, Maryland, she accepted the Lord and her calling into the ministry at the age of 16. During this time she worked on the following committees under Pastor Showell leadership: cleaning committee, prayer warrior team, international prayer committee, hospital and outreach ministry, and the evangelistic team. Her faithfulness and dedication paid off. Under the Bible Way organization she received her Field Missionary license.

          As time passed, she moved from Baltimore, Maryland, to Norfolk, Virginia, where she attends the Garden of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. under Pastor Levi Willis, Jr. While under his leadership, she became the director of the children's choir. Afterwards, she attended Liberty Temple Church, under the leadership of Pastor Betty Johnson, where she received her pastoral license. She moved from Norfolk, Virginia, to Neptune, New Jersey where she was birthed into Pentecostal Assembly of the World (P.A.W.) under the leadership of Pastor Carolyn Webb and Bishop Weeks, her Diocese Bishop. While under this ministry she was placed on the following: ministerial staff, early Morning Prayer team, Youth choir coordinator, Sunday school teacher,. It was through her many years of prayer, fasting, and prayer meetings that she realized her gifts and callings of pastor and apostleship. Finally, through training and obedience, she was ordained and received her pastor's license under the Pentecostal Assembly of World and in 2003 she was Affirmation as an Apostle under Michael Desmore Community Churches of God Stamford Connecticut

          Currently, Apostle Dr. Pastor Edith Moore is the founder and overseer of Emmanuel Ministries International Worldwide, Inc. and the founder of Emmanuel International Fellowship Nigeria Africa where she is the overseer of 25 Apostles, Bishops, Prophets, Pastors and Evangelist. She is the senior pastor and general overseer of Emmanuel Ministries Church, located 6858 Old Kings Road Jacksonville Florida. 

          The ministry was birthed in her spirit at the age of 16. It did not manifest until 1990. In addition, she is the Dean of Emmanuel Bible Institute, which was birthed in her spirit in 1989. God has given her a vision to equip men and women of the gospel to identify their individual calling(s). She has been instructed by God to teach people to live a Spirit filled life as well as promote unity in the body of Christ. Above all, she is creating a hunger for the word God in the lives of people, which brings her unspeakable joy. Apostle Dr. Edith Moore is a woman of purpose and destiny.

          Apostle Moore has attended Rock   church Bible College in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Christian Institute of Divinity in Neptune, New Jersey, Apostle Moore received her Associate degree in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education, a Master of Arts in Christian Psychology, and a Doctoral degree in Christian Psychology.
